Day trip to Oscarsborg Fortress and Drøbak

Full day / EUR 100,- per person

The 1 hour and 20 minutes boat trip from Oslo to Oscarsborg will give you nice view of the area around Oslo and the Oslo fjord. Oscarsborg Fortress is a coastal fortress in the Oslofjord, close to the small town of Drøbak. This place was a military territory until 2003 when it was made a publicly available resort island. The fortress is best known for sinking the German war ship Blücher on 9 April 1940. In Drøbak we continue through small and narrow streets to the Norwegian home of Santa Claus. The many old wooden houses together with shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants makes the old town unique and worth a visit. We return to Oslo by public bus approx. 50 min journey.
